What happens when you mate Top Chef and Blowout? Well you get Shear Genius of course. The show which brought us such memorable celebs as Tabitha...and nobody else...returns to Bravo. Shear Genius makes its return to Bravo on Wednesday, February 3, at 11pm.

Making a few changes this season, Bravo added a Padma-esque hostess and judge with mode Camila Alves. Adding a little flavor is Bravo’s former Blowout star, Jonathan Antin as a judge and co-host. Returning is hair world extraordinaire, Kim Vo and Orlando Pita adds some flavor as a mentor.

The contestants are nothing to write home about. None of them have the flair or personalities of Tabitha or...well, we forgot the rest of the past contestants, so this season is no different. The quick cut challenge in the first episode turns goth girls with nappy hair into beauties, if they’re lucky, while the elimination challenge is creating runway hair to match a bikini bottom. Nothing is mind blowing, so here’s hoping the rest of the season spices things up.

For more, you can always tune in to Bravo’s Shear Genius Season 3 on Wednesday nights.
