A recent controversy has erupted over a television commercial being run in France by McDonald’s that slightly hints at the idea that gay people may possibly exist.

Everybody wants to know Kagan’s personal life, but nobody can quite agree whether her personal life is or is not or could be or is maybe or is probably not or is kind of is relevant.

Didn’t some guy named Jesus Christ once say something about hypocrites, along the lines of removing the beam from one’s own eye? Apparently Dr. George Reker skipped that scripture.

Why do some gay men and women want so desperately to love a political party that does not love them in return? Do they live in an alternative reality? Or is there a method behind their madness?

David Archuleta recently came under fire for a series of ’controversial’ tweets he posted to Twitter, after a number of gossip blogs claimed that the singer’s presence at a New York City gay club indicated that he himself was gay.

A debate has raged on in the gay community during the past few years, over whether the public deserves to know the sexual orientation of celebrities.

Do political stunts bring us closer to our enemies for reconciliation, or do these stunts offend our enemies and drive them further away? Why, in the 37 years since women have been given the right to have a legal abortion and the 91 years since women have been given the right to vote, do the rights of women continue to come under attack with such ferocity and frequency?

What happens if the United States military - one of the largest employers in the country - decides that it will no longer tolerate homophobia? Allowing gay men and women to serve openly and honestly in the military workplace will send repercussions throughout the country that will affect all other workplaces.

We in the gay community can always benefit by setting new goals and resolutions. This past decade saw both successes (gay marriage becoming legal in several states; the election of Barack Obama) and failures (the passage of Proposition 8; the presidency of Barack Obama). By setting new resolutions and creating new goals, we can help make this become our most successful decade yet. What should the gay community set as its New Year’s resolutions for 2010
